Merger with Edinburgh College of Art, 2011

On 1 August 2011, Edinburgh College of Art merged with the University of Edinburgh.

Collaboration between the two institutions dates back to the 19th century and a jointly-taught MA (Honours) in Fine Art has been continuously offered since 1946.


, reconstituted as a school of the same name within the College of Humanities and Social Science.
