Robert Schlapp (1899-1991) worked as an Assistant in Natural Philosophy, Lecturer in Applied Mathematics, and Senior Lecturer in Mathematical Physics at Edinburgh University. He was the son of Otto Schlapp (1859-1939), Professor of German at Edinburgh University.
